Apply to be a Vendor

GRUMP, the alternative art and crafts holiday show, is coming to ZooLights at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo. GRUMP is looking for the best, most unique artists and craftspeople in the DC Metro area to sell their wares at this outdoor European-style market.

Thousands of visitors who make ZooLights a part of their annual holiday tradition. A free event, ZooLights includes live music performances, tasty winter treats and plenty of opportunities for holiday shopping. More than 500,000 environmentally-friendly LED lights transform the Zoo into a winter wonderland complete with a dazzling light show set to music! GRUMP is bringing vendors each night to Zoolights at the National Zoo in Washington, DC, December 7, 8 & 9, 2018. Vendors will set up and sell their wares outside during Zoolights from 5pm-9pm each night. Vendors do not have to sell every night for the three nights, but instead can let us know which nights they are available.

Details: Vendors will apply for however many nights they would like to sell. GRUMP expects to get far more applications than open spots, so this is a juried show. The vendor application will close on August 30th and folks will know by September 15th (or sooner) if they have a space. Vendors will pay $100 per night for their space. So, $100 for one night, $200 for two nights, $300 for three nights. Vendors must bring their own tent, tables, and lights. Electricity will be provided by the Zoo. A limited number of tents with lights are available to rent for an extra $250. The tent/light fee is $250 for one, two or three nights. Please know that lights are mandatory.

There is a $10 non-refundable application fee. This fee helps us to promote the show.
